Proposed LNG facility regulations
The purpose of this Part is to establish criteria for the siting of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities and to require such facilities to obtain a permit from the department pursuant to Article 23, Title 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law and to protect the public health and the environment of New York State (the State).
